Lausten North is the online handle of John Wolforth, who quit the church while on a mission trip in Colombia in 2010. His mother was raised a devout Baptist and his father a capitalist. They did not force religion on him, rather encouraged him to explore the many new ideas that became fashionable in American culture after the 1960’s. John has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Sociology from Indiana University. He has worked with many community organizations including his current participation with Kids Against Hunger.
