- Purpose
- This template may be used in any article that would benefit from a prominent link to a Wikipedia article on the same subject.
- Note
- Do not use this template if you wish to link a word or phrase in running text; for that, use a "Wikipedia:" interwiki link.
- Usage
- {{wikipedia}} — use if the Wikipedia article title matches our page title exactly
- {{wikipedia|Article title}} — if Wikipedia article title differs from ours
- {{wikipedia|Article title|Link text}} — if you want to use link text that differs from either article title (this should rarely be necessary)
- Example of third form
- {{wikipedia|List of apologetic works|Apologetic works}}
- creates a box with the link: Apologetic works (which points to Wikipedia:List of apologetic works)
