Purpose

This template generates double close-curly-braces (}}). It should only be necessary to use this template in other templates (and possibly within template calls on other pages in very special cases, as explained below), where the braces may be interpreted as an element of wiki syntax.

This character sequence can also be coded as the HTML character entities }}, which should take care of most cases where an ambiguity exists.
