The "antidepressants" analogy didn't seem appropriate. Yes, in general, it is better for a person to not need antidepressants, but for those who have a chemical imbalance or other mental problem, antidepressants can allow them to effectively function in society.

The use of illicit drugs is a choice, and one that is generally understood to cause a net harm to the user. Rivalarrival 16:38, 17 September 2008 (CDT)
