:::: I wonder if there are not general enough categories.  Just putting it in "arguments" doesn't really make the obviously relevant point that it is a pro-apologetics argument rather than a counter-apologetics argument.  That's really what I wanted to see originally, when we made categories for arguments "for" and "against" the existence of God.  Perhaps we should rearrange these categories with something like "apologetic arguments" and "counter-apologetic arguments", with the arguments for/against god being subs of those respective categories.

::::: Hmm. That seems unnecessarily complicated. I'm going to do what I suggested above (the first part, anyway). Someone else can change it if they feel so inclined. I'm not really happy with the current [[:Category:Arguments]] structure, but I haven't come up with a better alternative. - [[User:Dcljr|dcljr]] 15:46, 7 June 2007 (CDT)

This article creates not one, but two categories. Does anyone have any opinion on whether they should be created, or whether this article should be recategorized? --Arensb 12:16, 18 May 2007 (CDT)

Hmmm, does "Arguments for the lack of evidence for God" really deserve its own category? It seems very specialized. And is "Apologetics" substantially different from "Arguments for the existence of God?" --Kazim 16:57, 18 May 2007 (CDT)
It seems to me that a significant chunk of apologetics consists in finding excuses for the lack of evidence for God (or maybe it just seems that way because the "proof would undermine free will" argument comes up so often). At any rate, I'm not at all certain that these categories are the best ones for this article. That's why I'm asking for help. --Arensb 10:44, 20 May 2007 (CDT)
Well, it's definitely an argument — not sure it's an argument for the existence of God, though. Personally, I'd just put it in Category:Arguments, and possibly Category:Philosophical issues. - dcljr 20:56, 20 May 2007 (CDT)
I wonder if there are not general enough categories. --Kazim 11:41, 21 May 2007 (CDT)
