Talk:Biblical order of creation
I couldn't think of a good heading to put this page under, so it may need to be moved later. It's possible that it should be on the Genesis page, but I'm not sure it shouldn't have its own topic. --Kazim 13:23, 25 July 2006 (MST)
I don't really have an objection to the article title, as long as it is linked from other conversations (including Genesis, Creationism, etc). It might also be worth adding a section that discusses the different creation accounts in Genesis 1 and 2. We need to point out the differences, the apologists claim that they're "complimentary" accounts and not two separate creation stories as well as the response to those claims.
It's worth doing a bit of reading at carm.org or another apologist site to make sure we're representing and responding to the best arguments. At best, we're left with an ad hoc claim which leaves the question - "What evidence or argument supports accepting this creaion acount over any other - and instead of the wealth of scientific evidence which support natural explanations for the origins of the universe?"
