Protestantism

Along with Catholicism, one of the two major branches of Christianity.

Protestantism was formed by Martin Luther in the 16th century as a protest against corruption in the Catholic church.

Today, Protestantism is actually an umbrella term that includes many Christian denominations, including:

• Lutheranism
• Episcopalianism
• Baptism
