Nihilism
Nihilism is the philosophical doctrine suggesting the negation of one or more meaningful aspects of life. examples of Nihilism include:
-Existencial Nihilism, which argues that life is without objective meaning, purpose or intrinsic value.
-Moral Nihilism, which argues that nothing is Moral or Immoral. This can lead to Amoralism.
-Epistemological nihilism, which is considered extreme skepticism, in that all knowledge is denied.
-Metaphysical Nihilism, which is the philosophical theory that there might not be any objects at all.
-Mereological Nihilism (alternatively Compositional Nihilism), which is the position that objects with proper 'parts' do not exist, in space or time.
-Political Nihilism, a branch of Nihilism that follows the characteristic Nihilistic rejection of non-proven or non-rationalized assertions.
Christian Nihilism may include the belief that without God, there is no morality or ethics, objective meaning or intrinsic value of life. this is essentially Existential Nihilism.
