Iron Chariots Wiki talk:Requested pages
Note: I removed the empty categories (arguments for/against God). If you think of any particular examples, we can add them back in.
I also removed the line that said
- "But that's the old bible (Basically the position that the stupid laws in the old testament are not applicable, because the new testament came to institute a new way. So now all the stupid laws in the new one are the way to go.)"

Why science fiction?
Why is science fiction on the list of requested pages? Does it have a particular connection to atheism or (counter)apologetics? It's linked to from a few pages, but perhaps those should be redirected to Wikipedia --Arensb 20:53, 11 November 2007 (CST)
Appeal to education?
Sorry if this isn't the place, but I wasn't sure where else to ask. Does anyone know of a pre-existing name for a fallacy something along the lines of appeal to education? What I mean is that a typical route for arguments against criticism of the Bible is simply, "Oh, you don't understand it. It takes YEARS OF STUDY to properly understand it." --Zurahn 13:35, 6 September 2008 (CDT)
- Perhaps something about esoteric knowledge? Not sure. - dcljr 17:54, 9 September 2008 (CDT)
Collect advice to struggling atheists?
Should there be a page or category giving advice on such topics as how to deal with one's religious parents, how to come out as an atheist, and so on? This has come up any number of times on The Atheist Experience, as well as other fora. On one hand, it's obviously of great interest to a number of people. On the other hand, this wiki may not be the best place to provide advice. --Arensb 19:52, 29 December 2008 (CST)
- The wiki seems dedicated to providing arguments/counterarguments. I would think that pages dealing with the application of those arguments would be relevant... Rival 21:10, 30 December 2008 (CST)
Eight hour lunch podcast
I don't think the the eight hour lunch podcast really needs its own topic, as the podcast only ran 20 or so episodes and hasn't been active for over a year. If anyone else actually thinks the article is necessary I'd be happy to make it, but it seems a bit insignificant for such a short lived podcast. Enshoku 07:37, 6 January 2009 (CST)
