Please remember to sign your comments on talk pages by using four tildes:

which is "expanded", when you preview or save your edits, into your username and the current time and date; for example:

Do not sign any of your contributions to articles in the "main" namespace.

Signing your comments on talk pages helps other users follow the flow of the discussion. If you haven't logged in or registered to get a username, your computer's IP address is used instead (such users and their comments are known as "anonymous", in wiki lingo).

Attempting to keep your IP address hidden by not signing your comments is futile because this information will appear in the page's edit history, anyway. The only sure way to prevent your IP address from being made public is to register and always log in. Note that a small number of powerful users will still be able to gain access to your IP address should it be necessary. We should soon have a privacy policy that will explain all of this in more detail.

For more information, please see Wikipedia:Sign your posts on talk pages, or the more general Help:Talk page and Help:Logging in at Wikimedia's Meta-Wiki.
