Gnosticism is the position that there is proof of the existence of a God or divine being. Gnosticism is the absolute opposite of Agnosticism

Gnosticism is also a name of a religion based on the Jewish and Christian Scriptures. The religion has died out due to persecution by the Roman Empire, but reconstructionists are trying to revive it.

Gnostic Christians have a take on the argument from poor design by saying that the reason "creation" is flawed is because the creator (the God of the Old Testament) is also flawed.
