PNG vs. JPG

The original version of this image is indeed in PNG format. However, it's 200 Kb, rather than the current 80 Kb for the JPG version.

Is it worth more than doubling the size of the image for the sake of using a cleaner image format? Or can someone convert the original PNG to a PNG file that takes less space?
