Cultural relativism

Cultural relativism is the belief that one should not judge a culture by one's own standards. Rather, one should take into account that culture's views. For example, according to a cultural relativist it is wrong to call the Roman Empire immoral because it practised slavery, because slavery was seen as a legitimate business.
