Technically, one could make a case that ''all'' deities are fictional.  But the deities in this particular category were deliberately invented and have not been seriously believed by anyone, as far as we know.  This contrasts with the story of Jesus which is also at least partly made up. But the deities in this particular category were deliberately invented and have not been seriously believed by anyone, as far as we know. This contrasts with the story of Jesus which is also at least partly made up.
